The book takes you on journey of self-discovery where you can witness the endearing character Serendipity start to explore a preferable future with the help of a parrot called Pollyanna who becomes her life coach.
As a recent acquisition, this book has not yet entered the shadowy depths of my bookshelf. It has become a constant companion and trusted friend. At risk of appearing over-keen, I feel well able to justify my enthusiasm for this comprehensive and navigable text.
I was loaned “Cirque du Soleil The Spark; Igniting the Creative Fire that Lives Within Us All By Lyn Heward and John U Bacon” by a friend who is a trained psychologist but who works in “quality systems” for many international clients. Her “introduction” was; “I give a copy of this book to all my key client contacts – it’s never failed to provide a powerful message about what I will be working with them to achieve”.
Tim O'Rahilly's review on The Coaching Academy Blog of "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl. Jan Lonnen is the second to write for our new regular feature on PS Online. You will now be able to read book reviews for a range of coaching style books as well as reading the TCA team’s favourite books of all time. I have long been a fan of the One Minute Manager series that Ken Blanchard is most famous for, and am rather disappointed that Whale Done dishes up a refried version of Blanchard’s now famous wisdom.
